Political education is key to all pursuits of prolonged resistance, something which is unsurprisingly not on our schools' curriculums. Here are some of the videos, articles, zines, books, and documentaries that we have found helpful for preparing for resistance. Scroll down and click the pictures for more info.

NO! Against Adult Supremacy is a collection of Youth Liberation writing, originally published online by Stinney Distro.

From the Suffragists to the Black Panthers, from Nelson Mandela to Gay Liberation, McBay illuminates the paths and pitfalls that movements must navigate, and the principles that make them succeed. A favourite among XR Youth Oxfordshire members.

This documentary covers the history of using schools to wipe out indigenous cultures' traditions over the past few centuries. A problematic part of the modern schooling system lies in indoctrination. And so the pressure to seem more modern is eating away at values that traditional people hold.

How Europe Underdeveloped Africa is a 1972 book written by Walter Rodney that describes how Africa was deliberately exploited and underdeveloped by European colonial regimes. One of his main arguments throughout the book is that Africa developed Europe at the same rate that Europe underdeveloped Africa.
